5K Fun Run & Walk Check-In

  Askew Student Life Center Courtyard

We encourage you to come by the Askew Student Life Center by 7:00 AM to complete your check-in.

 8:00am - 9:30am sold out

Sponsored by Campus Recreation, the Family Weekend 5K Fun Run is the best way to take in the beautiful sights and scenery of the Florida State University campus. Perfect for walkers and runners of all ages, skill levels, and abilities, each 5K participant will receive a commemorative t-shirt and towel. Prizes will be awarded for top finishers in each age category. Before the tailgating begins, come start your day with fresh air and great exercise!

In order to receive a timed chip bib for the competition you must preregister online by September 20, 2021.

After the tabulation and verification of race results, plaques will be presented to the first, second, and third finishers in each Age Groups.

Day of registration is welcomed but will not be able to win in the timed competition. Thank you for your participation and GOOD LUCK!

Brunch, DJ, Games! Before the showdown with Syracuse Orange on Saturday, the pregame festivities begin at the Family Weekend Tailgate Brunch. No folding chairs or other tailgating supplies required! We will have a DJ entertaining us while you enjoy your brunch and lawn games.

MoFA connects Florida State University and the broader community to the arts. In addition to maintaining a permanent collection of over 6000 objects, MoFA presents exhibitions of historical and contemporary art works that contribute meaningfully to the scholarship and conversations that sustain the civic and intellectual life of our campus, city, and region. Exhibits during Family Weekend include A Shared Body, Napoleon at the Movies, and Social Distance.
